There’s nothing like taking a vacation and relaxing in your downtime. Qualities that make a place a vacation destination usually include warm tropical weather and a beautiful place to swim in.

Considering the world consists primarily of water, there is no shortage of places where a person can swim. However, some swim spots are just a little (or a lot) better than others.

Beautiful and atmospheric, these locations exist all over the world and sport a variety of different characteristics.

Are you looking to go on a swimming vacation? If so, these are some of the locations you should consider.

Blue Lagoon in Iceland

There’s nothing quite like Iceland’s Blue Lagoon. Located near the town of Grindavik, this unique body of water exists within a lava field, turning the lagoon into something of an enormous hot tub.
